U.P. TREE IDENTIFICATION KEY |
FOREST HEALTH - PESTS SORTED BY HOST TREE SPECIES
If the correct tree species or genus has been identified, the pool of pest possibilities is substantially reduced. The pests associated with the following tree species are not comprehensive lists. They are the more likely candidates for something that's bugging you (or your tree).
The pests listed under "general" headings are not necessarily repeated under individual tree species listings. So, look both under a particular tree species as well as the associated general listing. Pests listed under particular hosts indicate common occurence, but arte not necessarily exclusive to that particular host. This website is an attempt to highlight most of the more common tree pests. A comprehensive index would take many pages using a small font size.
