Sugar maple is king!
And we'll see more and more of it.
There is more than one way to look at the
idea of "most common," depending upon how
you measure.  You can talk about the volume
of trees one inch diameter and larger, or
trees five inches and larger, or the number
trees.  In any case, sugar maple is tops.
